Refund & Reschedule Policy
1) Definitions
Private Class = a session booked for your group only (e.g. parties, corporate, hens).
Public Class = a scheduled session open to individual ticket purchases.
Catering/Add-ons = pre-ordered food, grazing platters, cakes, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, high tea and similar items.
2) Private Classes
Within 21 days of the booked date: bookings are non-refundable.
What we can do instead (subject to availability/approval):
Move your booking to a new date, or
Issue a gift certificate/credit for the booking value (valid 12 months), or
Approve a partial refund at management’s discretion.
3) Public Classes
Within 7 days of the class: tickets are non-refundable.
What we can do instead (subject to availability/approval):
Transfer you to another session/date, or
Issue a gift certificate/credit (valid 12 months), or
Approve a partial refund at management’s discretion.
4) Catering & Add-ons (Food/Alcohol)
Once catering or alcohol has been ordered/confirmed (typically 72 hours prior to the event, excluding public holidays and weekends — though this may be earlier for some suppliers), these costs are non-refundable.
If you reschedule or receive a credit, your credit will be the booking value less any non-refundable catering/alcohol costs already incurred.
If a date change is approved, we’ll do our best to transfer catering to the new date. If the supplier can’t transfer, new catering charges may apply.
Where possible, we’ll try to reallocate or on-sell the catering; if successful, we’ll reduce/waive the catering deduction.
5) No-Shows & Late Arrivals
No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
If you’re running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate, but no refunds/credits apply.
6) Transfers
You’re welcome to transfer your ticket to another person at any time—just email us their name and contact details.
7) Minimum Numbers / Our Cancellation
If we need to cancel or reschedule (e.g. low numbers, illness, unforeseen circumstances), you’ll be offered a full refund, a new date, or a gift certificate/credit (your choice).
If we cancel after catering is ordered, we’ll cover the catering cost or arrange an equivalent alternative—your choice of full refund or credit still applies.
8) How to Request a Change
Please email hello@sipandcreatetamborinemountain.com.au (or reply to your booking confirmation) with your name, order number, and request as soon as possible.
Approvals for partial refunds, credits, or date changes are at management discretion and may depend on whether we can fill your spot.
9) Gift Certificates / Credits
Credits and gift certificates issued under this policy are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used for any Sip & Create Tamborine Mountain workshop.
